Museum Bali is built with traditional architecture with Balinese ornaments with the typical structure of the Palace (puri) worship or place based on these trimandala namely mandala jaba pisan (exterior), vice principal and Central jaba mandala mandala innards (part core). Intoi baian's three main buildings namely building Alliance in the North to the exhibition space art and ethnographic collection, Karangasem at the back of the building for a special exhibition room collection of prehistoric objects of archaeological, historical, ethnographic and fine art as well as some modern paintings while the building of Buleleng is in the South as a place of special exhibition of household equipment tools, craft tool tools agricultural tools, tool and fishermen, entertainment tool tools, sculpture statue style simple and primitive that is made of clay, stone and so on.

Stutterheim Archeological and head of Department for the management of the museum established a foundation chaired by H.R. Ha'ak, author of G.J. Grader G.M. Hendrikss, Treasurer, members of r. Goris, I Gusti Ngurah Alit King of Badung, I Gusti Bagus State and w. Spies. Museum Bali was passed on 8 December 1932 and officially opened to the public.
